Its really difficult to explain this word because its used to express thoughts and emotions that are inexpressible.

“Silence speaks louder than words”– they say and its true. One can silence the voice but how does one silence “silence”? You cannot. And that’s the power of it.

A quite mind beholds thousands of thoughts (if not million) and knows that the mass is not ready to listen to these thoughts. Hence it chooses to remain silent.

Silence has voice of its own. Maybe its loudest of all. And it has the beauty of hiding all the chaos with calmness.

Words are merely the drops in an ocean. Silence is the ocean. It amuses me the way others interpret silence- they assume it to be your shyness or worse- a characteristic of a coward. In fact, its the opposite.

Wise men have beautifully quoted the power of silence. And it takes patience of a saint (if I may say) and resistance to not fall into the pointless banter of words that the world has to offer.

So “Random Thoughts” are what you will get to read on this page. I was going through my old diary to see if I have anything worth publishing. And I came across these stupid quotes that I wrote God knows when. So here they are.

P.S. Don’t judge me. I wrote them probably at 3 a.m and these are not related in anyway, to me 😀

“In this world, where breaking up with someone and then moving on is no big deal; I am still yearning for love that is beyond forever.”

“And they lived happily ever after”– is a myth.

“For love comes naturally, It is hate that needs to be cultivated And that’s because we are made of love- and also, for it. “

“Silence- its difficult to explain this word, and that’s because it’s used to express the inexpressible”

I really have hope for this country, and for this world- to be a better place for us to live in it.

And why not? There are around 7.7 billion minds who have the ability to think- for themselves and for others; who are capable of loving and being loved; who have the potential to create, invent and explore.

I know its difficult to hold on to faith when we read news about terrorism, rapes, suicides, murders and tragic deaths almost everyday. But even if you have that tiny hope inside of you which tells you that there is a possibility for a better tomorrow, hold it tight. Never let it go.

We are the future after all. And I have met so many people who want to give so much to the society and our Mother Earth which makes me believe that there is goodness in each one of us and that we can make this place a better home for all those who live in it.
